Infection in pregnant women can be caused by several viruses, one of which is Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Mother-to-child transmission HIV reaches 2.6% all cases HIV-AIDs, and more than 90% the incidence children transmitted mothers. The increase infants occurred line with women, namely 20% 2007, 25% 2008, 27% 2011. Objectives, Programs are developed to reduce risk mother-to-child HIV. health workers achieve improvement maternal health, infant mortality protect RSUD city C. Preparation stage, identification problems midwifery unit, shared perceptions PMTCT. Implementation, seminars on PMTCT, formation an education team early screening (early screening) about making standard operating procedures (SOPs) prenatal screening, SOPs for delivery positive patients, breastfeeding, techniques breastfeeding HIV-positive Finally, evaluating results work related implementing every patient.
